Welcome to Damascus Road  

We're Steve and Joyce, Sunday School team-teachers in Damascus Road since its beginning in November 2000. We are also involved in the Divorce Care Groups on Sunday mornings at 9:15am.  Several years ago, God amazed us when He began to impress upon our hearts to help in pioneering ministries to divorced people and those struggling with great difficulties in their lives.

Having suffered similar loss, we were very aware that support of this nature was virtually non-existent in our local churches.  What concerned us most was that the outreach to which we felt called did not exist in our own local church.  How could we begin from nothing?

What we did not know at the time was how many people were in broken families, struggling, and hurting from crises and losses in their lives.  That's how this ministry got started.  Through strong faith, and the Lord's gift of a godly marriage, Christ has blessed us beyond our imagination.  It makes us wonder what God has in store for you.
